The Boeing 747-400 was delivered to the Dutch airline KLM in April 1990 with registration PH-BFG. With the manufacturer's serial number (MSN) 24517 and christened the 'City of Guayaquil', the aircraft flew to Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Toronto, among other destinations, for almost 30 years. In 2019, the aircraft was decommissioned and transferred to Air Atlanta Icelandic for recycling. They re-registered it as TF-AMG and parked it at Cotswold Airport, where it was eventually scrapped in March 2021. Now, Aviationtags, among other things, have been made from it.
